Our Solution

Drawing from our expertise in application development and maintenance, the solution is to create a user-friendly order management portal for a client in the healthcare industry, allowing customers to seamlessly place and track their orders. Made in collaboration with the client and Pointwest’s solutions partner , we provided offshore development services for the application’s frontend and backend, integrating SAP Commerce Cloud and SAP S/4/HANA backend systems.

As the application expanded its operational scope to encompass additional countries and business units, a critical issue emerged: scalability. The existing platform lacked the capacity to handle the anticipated growth in users and transactions. Its lack of functionality on mobile also posed a challenge for users, as they were increasingly relying on smartphones and tablets to access the platform. Our team had to transition the application to a new and more scalable framework from previously implemented frontend and backend systems. This shift streamlines the development of localized versions of the platform that cater to specific markets while also future-proofing it for efficient handling of anticipated growth.

Upon the initial launch of the application, which initially served four business units within the United States, there was an increase in online orders by 22% and a notable reduction in Help Desk calls by 25%. The initial launch yielded impressive results, showcasing the platform’s intuitive and user-friendly design. Today, the application that we developed plays a pivotal role within the client’s global sales strategy, generating over $50 million in monthly orders. It has continued to expand to support approximately 25 business units worldwide, serving users across Asia, Europe, and Africa.
